In early January, a delegation organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs visited Cambodia for exploration of cooperation with Cambodian Government in agricultural product processing industry. Du Liqing, Deputy Director of South Subtropical Crops Research Institute joined the delegation.

The Chinese delegation exchanged ideas and information on land management and custom clearance with officials from Ministry of Commerce andDepartment of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Cambodia. Moreover, the delegation went down to have face-to- face communication with 9 major enterprises, farms and orchards in enterprise operation, fund management, marketing, composition of labor force, selling network and regulations of customs clearance, and collected the first-hand information to understand the needs of Cambodia.
